October 7th The Ugly Duckling

We have a plant on the deck that is nothing spectacular. I think of it as one of the ugly ducklings of this world. It sits nicely in a pot (which just happens to be a pottery elephant) but it has never done anything. It is green and stays the same, year after year after year.Until this year that is.
