October 3rd Opium?

Throw in a bit of opium, and the other side of the box mentions morphine and I may finally be able to kill this cough. That's if the cough doesn't kill me first. Time for the big boy medicine

  1. Oh, Linctus Gee brings back many memories - when I was in my late teens on onwards, we used to be able to ask for Linctus Gee and the chemist would go out the back of his dispensary and bottle it on request, label it and we'd pay a pittance for it, and it was jolly good for a coughy cold! I loved the taste of it too. Haven't had it for years, in fact didn't know it was still available. I've almost forgotten what it tastes of now. Didn't know about the morphine though. Hope you it does the trick for you. D.xx

  2. I had it recommended by the GP too and helped lots! I don't mind the taste, even if the pharmacist told me that has a strong horrible taste (had other cough medicines worse that this) . Mine didn't had the original packaging so I haven't had an idea of what ingredients are mixed in, but they've told me to avoid driving and to use it more in the evening if working day time.
Get well soon and take it easy! Hugs!

    1. I actually don't mind the taste Ramona. Like you I have had a lot worse. I am that lucky I work from home - I have been taking the 5ml every 6 hours, and can't notice any side effects (apart from my coughing appears to be getting further and further apart!!). Hugs xxx
