September 24th The Joys of being a Grandparent

Havana appeared in her first school production. All 150 + pupils from Te Uku School were involved and it was written and produced by teachers and parents . The show was very professional with smoke machines, strobe lighting and children performing and singing. Even down to the fact that no photography was allowed. We had an extremely enjoyable evening.

  1. This sounds like fun.
Yesterday, I drove past Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, Va. It is a fantastic facility that accommodates about 2,000 students. I could not help to juxtaposition these two schools after reading your article.

  2. This school is comprised of 5 to 13 year olds. But the student numbers are just over 150 However this is a rural school as opposed to a city school :)
