January 15th As Cool as a Cucumber...

Well actually two cucumbers to be pedantic
That's enough to do the trick
A yummy salad waiting for sour cream
Don't worry it was light - no need to scream

  2. Hello Jo, I peel and slice the cucumber thinly. And as I layer it in a colander I give it a light sprinkling of Vegeta (a Croatian Vegetable Stock Powder), but you can use salt. I find Vegeta gives it more of a 'taste' so prefer it. Leave it for a few hours as lots of liquid will come out. Then just stir in sour cream. A little bit of dill or fennel gives us nice flavour as well.

    And that's it - so easy but yummy.
