January 31st Happy Chinese New Year
The Year of the Horse apparently. When I think back to growing up in New Zealand back in the 1960's to what New Zealand is like now - what wonderful opportunities we now have to enjoy such diverse cultures. Back then we had no idea what or when Chinese New Year was. Takeaways was fish n chips and actually Hamilton didn't even have a supermarket.
