Twas an Autumn's night
Daylight saving had ended, not to everyone's delight
The sky took on that autumn hue
with just the faintest trace of blue
Basil was feeling slightly green
He didn't know if he had been seen
His leafy look made him preen
Until he found out he was headed for the freezer - and was now a has been!
