Great clouds Irene. I am a 'cloud noticer' if that is such a thing :) Recently the clouds here in the big smoke have been plentiful and with a completely straight/flat bottom, almost like someone has sliced them with a knife! Very odd... And I have noticed that the south island has very different clouds to the north island - some say I must spend too much time with my head in the clouds :) Always enjoy your photos, Brenda
Cloud formations are amazing Brenda. And I know what you mean about the 'sliced' clouds - we seem to have had a lot lately, which are unusual for here. I love looking at the big fluffy white clouds (total ignoramus as to cloud type names) and picturing what the shapes depict.
I guess SI clouds are different due to the different climates. But I agree, I noticed when we we have been down there on holiday, they are different clouds - which seems strange, but it is true :)
