Tonight we had a particular wish
for dinner it would be nice to have some fish
Preferably smoked would be just nice
To put in a white sauce to have with mashed spuds, not rice
George smoked some Snapper on a whim
and then Andrei and Olimpia called in
They shared with us some Kahawai
Believe me, tonights dinner was definitely ka pai
(ka pai - origin Maori, meaning good, well done - not as in beef well done, but bravo well done)
