October 7th to Now.. Off The Grid

Hello everyone. I haven't posted as I was unexpectedly admitted to hospital. I am all good now and on the mend, but spending seven days in hospital, isn't exactly my choice of taking time out. But that is all behind me and after two weeks, I finally feel like the old me.

However what I have decided, is that I will  no longer post a photo a day. Even before my enforced break I was struggling to come up with a photo every day. I would have liked to kept going for one more month, which would have been my sixth anniversary of taking a photo every day.  But health circumstances put an end to that idea and I have been cut short.

But don't despair. I am not going to let you off that lightly. If I do see something out of the usual worthy of a snapshot, believe me I will be there poised. Or I will even just update this blog with my wafflings.

Irene Loves Elephants is not going anywhere thank you!!!

    Take it easy, Irene and take care. Even though we often think we are invincible, we definitely are not. Hospitals are not the most exciting things in life but we are so glad of them when we need them.

      Hi Marnie. You are so right - and the staff could not be faulted. Every staff member I encountered, whether qualified or unqualified were absolute darlings :)

    Oh my goodness Irene, I didn't expect to find this, but pleased to read you are on the mend and now feeling back to your old self again. I don't come into your Blog every day, but every so often I have a big catch-up and thoroughly enjoy your photos and reading the bright and breezy, cheerful snippets of your every day life. You've done so well supplying photos as you have for nearly 6 years. You've kept us well entertained and you deserve to have an intermittent rest from every day postings. Take care and I will still be on board here catching you up every so often. You brighten up my days!
