January 17th Rotorua: Whakarewarewa Village, Lake Tarawera and Lake Rotorua

Today was spent sampling the delights of Rotorua, and here are a few images of the day

Lessons for the cultural show - teaching overseas visitors how to pronounce Whakarewarewa

Lake Tarawera

Trying to find his location on the map

Just one of the architecturally designed public toilets at the Redwood Forest

Carved prow of a Maori Waka (canoe)

Carving at the rear of the Waka

My favourite photo stop when we drive home through the village of Tirau

You can't drink anything but when you are in Waikato Country. Enjoying a Waikato beer in a Waikato pub - pssst I had a glass of Bubbles instead - traitor!!
